Preschool Classes

Little Bytes of Virginia would like to offer you an opportunity to add computer education to the list of advantages your childcare program provides for its clients. Our educational program uses computers and multimedia technology as a learning media.

Our Program

Our program emphasis is on providing children with computer skills for life. Through our curriculum taught by certified teachers, your students will discover the fun in learning. We bring our up-to-date educational software and hardware to your school. Your students will learn the skills that are needed to operate a computer with self-confidence and ease.

Our curriculum provides age-appropriate technology experiences for preschool children that incorporate the basic skills necessary for good child development. During the year, our month-long themes will cover skills in the following areas:

Your students will develop self-confidence, independent thinking, and problem solving skills as they discover the computer and how to make it "work" for them.

The Preschool's Responsibilites

Preschool classes are held weekly on a day that has been mutually agreed upon by the director of the preschool and the director of Little Bytes of Virginia. The classes run 20 minutes to 45 minutes in length, dependent on the ages of the students enrolled.

Each preschool must provide:

• an appropriate space to work
• access to an electrical outlet
• a table and chairs
• wall space to put up a weekly poster about each week's lesson

That's it! We bring the rest! We provide the computers, the software, the instructors and the curriculum.

Join Our Preschool Family

The children love our computer classes! Many parents have shared with us that computer day is one of their child's favorite days at school. We provide the students with a different approach to learning.

We currently serve 13 preschools in our community. We would love to add your program to our "family". To discuss the Little Bytes of Virginia computer program with one of our current customers, just call us and we will share some of our customer's names with you.
